it was well done..but i just didnt like it that much...and the blade movie was derived from a blade comic book which may or may not have been created before Dr. Shroud

Yes- "Blade" was derived from the comic book of the same name. However, in that book he was not a vampire, but a "dhampir", one who has an immunity to vampires. It did come before Dr. Shroud, but not the movie version, which was altered to make it more interesting. If you look at "The Last Man on Earth" with Vincent Price, you will see that this conversation is pointless, as that was the first of its kind. Just goes to show: there are no new ideas.
